The improvement of Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTPs) operation and outputs leads to an increase of urban sewage sludges volume.

Background or General project description

AdWastoGas project aims to dimension, build and develop an experimental thermal gasification prototype of sewage sludges and wastes based on an innovative concept which combines residues quality and energy efficiency.

French Expertise

INOVERTIS selects the Best Available Technologies (BAT) to treat WWTPs sludges :

  • Comparative LCA with conventional WWTPs sludges treatment sectors
  • Environmental impact optimization of gasification sector and by-products recovery (Industrial Ecology)
  • Market analysis and calculation of the societal benefits
