Fer de France is the interbranch association of French railway, created in 2012, which aims to bring together all the players in the French railway sector: the transport authorities (GART and ARF), the State, the operators (UTP, SNCF, RATP), the infrastructure managers (SNCF-Réseau, Eurotunnel), the industrial sector and the engineering companies (Syntec Ingénierie).

The association aims to facilitate and to optimize the reflection of the professionals of the French rail sector, to enable actions for economic development, valuation and promotion of the sector. The aim is to increase the capacity and efficiency of the French rail sector and to promote it to domestic and international markets.
